"See You Again" is a vocal past American rapper Wiz Khalifa, featuring American vocalist-songwriter Charlie Puth. It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the 2015 moving picture Furious vii as a tribute to player Paul Walker, who died in a single-vehicle accident on November 30, 2013. "Encounter You Over again" became both Khalifa'southward and Puth's biggest unmarried to appointment. Writing and evolution [edit]

"Run across You Again" was written by DJ Frank Eastward, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, and Andrew Cedar. It was produced past DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, and Andrew Cedar.[5] Frank E and Puth were approached by their publishing company, Artist Publishing Group, to develop a melody that could pay tribute to actor Paul Walker for the moving-picture show Furious vii (2015). Its climb into the tiptop 10 was the chart's biggest since Katy Perry'southward "Roar" (2013).[17] In its fifth week, "Run across Y'all Once more" sold 464,000 copies and rose from number ten to number ane on the Billboard Hot 100. The song marked Khalifa's 2d number one on the chart, following "Blackness and Yellow" (2011), and Puth'south first.[18] It topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 not-sequent weeks. After its twelfth week it was finally knocked off the tiptop spot by Omi'south hit, "Cheerleader". The video begins with a shot of a cliff elevation at sunset, followed past Khalifa walking downwards a highway route.
